Product Introduction
The XDL-6000 ignition cable is a premium high-voltage shielded ignition cable, primarily designed as a matching component for industrial high-energy ignition systems. Connected between the high-energy igniter (power control unit) and the ignition rod (ignition electrode), it is responsible for transmitting the high-voltage, high-energy pulses generated by the igniter to the ignition tip safely and stably, thereby generating electrical sparks to ignite the fuel.
Key Installation and Wiring Points
-
Substitution Strictly Prohibited: Never substitute this product with ordinary cables. High-voltage leakage can cause severe personal injury and catastrophic damage to electronic equipment.
-
Secure Torque & Tight Sealing: Connectors at both ends must be torqued precisely to specification to ensure reliable sealing, and high-temperature resistant gaskets must be installed.
-
Routing & Separation: Route the cable far away from variable frequency drives (VFDs) and heavy-duty power cables (maintain a minimum clearance of $\ge 30\text{ cm}$). The shielding layer must be grounded at a single end (specifically on the control room side).
-
Thermal Protection: Avoid direct contact with high-temperature zones of the furnace wall. Apply thermal insulation sleeving/conduits where necessary.
-
Pre-commissioning Inspection: After installation, insulation resistance and voltage-withstand (hipot) tests must be performed. The cable can only be put into service after passing these tests.
Typical Applications
The XDL-6000 ignition cable is extensively utilized in automatic ignition systems for large-scale burners across various sectors, including industrial boilers, power plant boilers, and petrochemical industries. It operates as an integrated assembly alongside high-energy igniters and ignition rods.
