High Pressure Hydraulic Filter Element HDX-630×10Q2 Replacement for ZU-H/QU-H Series

Product Overview

The YOYIK HDX-630×10Q2 filter element is designed for use in ZU-H and QU-H series pressure line filters installed in hydraulic systems. It removes mechanical impurities, colloids, asphaltenes, and carbon residues from hydraulic oil, preventing valve spool sticking, orifice plugging, and excessive wear of hydraulic components. This element is suitable for high-pressure applications up to 32 MPa and provides absolute filtration efficiency ≥99.5%.

Pressure Line Filter Element HDX-630x10Q2

Key Features

  • High filtration accuracy – absolute rating with filtration ratio βₓ ≥200 (ISO standard)

Working Principle

During operation, hydraulic oil enters the filter head, passes through the outside of the filter element, and flows radially inward through the pleated glass fiber media. Particles larger than the rated pore size are trapped on the outer surface and within the depth of the media. Clean oil exits through the center tube and returns to the system. As contaminants accumulate, the pressure drop across the element increases. When the differential pressure reaches 0.35 MPa, the built-in indicator (if equipped) sends an electrical or visual signal, indicating that the element needs replacement. A bypass valve (optional) opens at 0.4 MPa to protect the system from starvation.

Product Structure

Filter element in the housing:

Filter structure

The element consists of a pleated glass fiber media layer, a perforated stainless steel center tube for support, and metal end caps bonded with epoxy. Sealing rings are mounted on the end caps to ensure no bypass leakage. The element fits into the filter housing and is secured by a spring or threaded rod.

Maintenance & Replacement

  • Monitor differential pressure: Replace the element when the pressure drop reaches 0.35 MPa or when the indicator alarms.
  • Inspection interval: Check differential pressure every 500 operating hours or monthly; shorten interval for heavily contaminated systems.
  • Replacement procedure: Depressurize the system, open the filter housing, remove the old element, clean the inside of the housing, install a new element with fresh seals, and tighten to specified torque.
  • Do not clean glass fiber elements: Unlike wire mesh, glass fiber elements cannot be washed or reused. Always replace with a new YOYIK original element.
  • Spare parts stock: Keep at least one set of replacement elements and seal kits on site to minimize downtime.
