Steam Turbine Rotational Speed Monitor DF9011 Pro Tachometer Manufacturer

Product Introduction

DF9011 Pro rotational speed monitor, also called as precision transient speed monitor, is a new product designed and developed for rotating machine’s rotating speed. DF9011 Pro rotational speed monitor is an intelligent instrument which based on advanced DSP processor. It can continuously inspect machine’s rotating speed to protect the rotating machine, with the input signal from magneto-electric speed sensors or magnetic reluctance sensor or eddy-current sensor.

Key Applications

This turbine speed meter is essential for monitoring rotating shaft systems in:

  • Power Plants: Steam turbines, feed water pumps, and fans.
  • Petrochemicals: Compressors and centrifugal machinery.
  • Heavy Industry: Any high-speed equipment requiring overspeed safety.

Installation & Operation

  • Sensor Gap: Maintain 0.5mm to 1.0mm between sensor and gear.
  • Shielding: Use shielded cables; ground at the instrument side to block EMI.
  • Configuration: Set the gear tooth count via the panel for accurate RPM calculation.

Selection Guide: Genuine vs. Counterfeit

Feature Yoyik Genuine Monitor✅ Cheap Counterfeits❌
Processor Industrial-grade chip; programmable. Non-programmable “fixed” shell.
Stability High EMI resistance; steady readings. Erratic data; prone to interference.
Safety Reliable overspeed trip protection. High risk of failure during emergencies.
Enclosure Robust aluminum alloy shield. Thin plastic or low-grade metal.

Quick FAQ

Q: Why is the reading “0”?
A: Check sensor-to-gear gap or ensure the gear is magnetically permeable.

Q: Can I test the alarms?
A: Yes. Temporarily lower the alarm threshold below current speed to verify relay action.

Q: Are counterfeits dangerous?
A: Yes. Without calibration or core chips, they cannot provide the real-time speed monitor data needed to prevent catastrophic “overspeed” events.
