The SMCB-01-16L is a new type of speed sensor designed for power plant steam turbines, utilizing a magnetic-sensitive chip as its sensing element. It detects magnetic or magnetically permeable materials, such as iron and electrical steel. When the target object—featuring protrusions (or indentations) made of magnetically permeable material—rotates, the sensor outputs a pulse signal corresponding to the rotational frequency, thereby enabling speed measurement or displacement detection.
This sensor employs a three-wire connection method; it is easy to install and use, highly versatile, and widely applied across various industries. It offers unique advantages—particularly in low-speed or ultra-low-speed non-contact detection—that other sensors cannot match.
