The CY-I pressure indicator is generally installed in the inlet chamber of the return line oil filter. As the hydraulic system operates, contaminants in the oil are continuously trapped by the filter element during the return oil circulation. This causes the inlet pressure of the return oil filter to gradually increase. When the pressure reaches the preset value of the indicator, it triggers an action to switch on an indicator light or buzzer alarm, prompting timely cleaning or replacement of the filter element. Alternatively, it can act as a switch to cut off the control circuit associated with the hydraulic system, ensuring safe and normal operation.
Although both the CY-I and CYB-I indicators are pressure-type indicators, the CY-I model cannot be used in conjunction with computers. Before operating the CY-I indicator, it is necessary to confirm the actuation pressure setting and the thread size for connecting to the filter. These two parameters can be determined based on actual on-site working conditions.
