The wind speed transmitter uses a three cup rotating frame wind speed sensing element to convert the wind speed into the rotational speed of the rotating frame, and then applies photoelectric methods to convert the rotational speed of the rotating frame into the frequency of the electrical signal. The frequency signal of wind speed is collected and processed by a microcontroller to calculate the average wind speed for three seconds. Then it is transmitted to the DA converter to convert the 0-50m/s wind speed into a standard 4-20mA current signal.
